A native Southern Californian, Bill moved to San Diego in 1979 to attend the University of San Diego. His years on the USD rowing team helped him develop the discipline and drive needed to be a successful team player. While at USD, Bill was involved in the Semester at Sea Program, which enabled him to travel the world while studying. He has now visited over 45 countries on six continents.
Bill's extensive background in Real Estate spans over 18 years. His experience working as part of the Sales & Marketing Management team for one of the nation's largest homebuilders taught Bill about the critical intersection of Wall Street and Main Street. Because of his keen understanding of real estate markets, Bill was chosen to be part of the Lennar Advisory Council-a select team whose input guided local and national sales policies for the builder. Bill has been nominated for multiple Building Industry Association/Sales & Marketing Council Awards for Real Estate Sales.
Bill's broad-based knowledge helps him to be an effective advisor from entitlement to construction, marketing and through the final sale. He enjoys the creative and detailed demands that developing property requires and is always on the look-out for potential opportunities. An avid craftsman, Bill also enjoys renovating and rehabilitating older properties.
As co-owner of Initiative Real Estate, Inc with his wife Julie, Bill understands the vital role of community involvement. He is a volunteer with the City of San Diego and is very active in San Diego's public school system, where his two children are enrolled.
